AIRPORT & GROUND TRANSPORTATION INFORMATION
Hangzhou has a well-developed public transportation system that includes buses, metro, taxis, and bicycles.
Grand Parkray Hanzhou Hotel allows easy access to major attractions and business centres being just 5 minutes walk from Metro Jianshe Third Road ( D Exit ).
Transfer to and from Xiaoshan International Airport Terminal is approximately 25 minutes travelling by Hangzhou Metro Line No.7 ( 8 Stops ). The fare is around USD$1.
Official Airport Pickup:
USD $20 Per Car ( 4 Persons ). Booking Required.
City Taxis: The taxi fare in Hangzhou is regulated by the government and is quite affordable. The flag-down fare is ¥11 (approximately USD$1.7) for the first 3 kilometers. It costs ¥2.5-3.75 (approximately USD$0.4-0.6) per kilometer afterward depending on the distance travelled.

Visa is required for most foreigners to visit China. Please contact your local Chinese Embassy to learn the requirement.

Language: The official language in Hangzhou is Mandarin. English is also frequently spoken.
Time Zone: Hangzhou observes China Standard Time ( GMT + 8 Hours ) all year. There are no Daylight Saving Time clock changes.
Weather:
In Hangzhou, from June 6th to June 10th, 2024, you can expect typical early summer weather. Daytime temperatures are likely to hover around 30°C (86°F), while nighttime temperatures may drop to about 22°C (72°F). UV levels can be high, so proper skin protection is recommended during sunny intervals.
You can also expect occasion rain showers. It’s advisable to bring rain gear to stay dry during your visit. Overall, be prepared for warm, humid conditions with a mix of sun and rain during your stay.
Currency: The currency is Renminbi Yuan ( ¥ CNY ). Currency exchange is available at the airport.
Credit Cards: Visa and Mastercard as accepted forms of payment in China within most major cities and shops.
Alipay: Alipay is a popular virtual payment platform in China. You can use Alipay by following these steps:
1. Download the Alipay app from the App Store or Google Play Store.
2. Register for an account using your mobile number and email address.
3. Link your bank account or credit card to your Alipay account.
4. Verify your identity by submitting a photo of your passport or other identification documents.
